RASA- A Taste of Tradition

Welcome to alluring and incredibly captivating world of Rasa. We are in the process of setting up a Social Enterprise, to be operational by early 2009 under the umbrella of Rasa Institutions: to serve the community by supporting passionate individuals, including unemployed youth, who aspire to be chefs, by providing professional training in traditional Indian Vegetarian Cooking with our unique holistic approach to life through food; to help transform their lives.

 

Our program is conceived to provide not only training in the art of cooking, but also to instill a deeper connection with nature and the ingredients thru organic farming, and also to promote community involvement through interactions with the elderly and children.

 

Our mentoring will also seek to address the isolation of chefs by bringing in more meaningful interaction with people, be it the customers who appreciate their art as chefs or fellow staff or anyone from the community who want to share their wisdom and experience.
